It fills the gap between large UGVs with dimensions similar to manned vehicles and small explosive ordnance disposal robots (EOD). Its design and functionalities translate into multitasking and a wide range of missions – from reconnaissance and combat operations, through transporting wounded soldiers evacuated from the battlefield or delivering ammunition, to accompanying smaller units in difficult terrain (transporting additional cargo with equipment).
The vehicle's size makes it extremely compact and easy to transport. It can be carried by standard delivery vehicles, as well as helicopters and airplanes, allowing for airdrop and quick movement even to hard-to-reach areas. It also has a high load capacity increased by the ability to tow the trailer.
Its reconnaissance and combat version GOBLIN is equipped with the ZMU-5 remote controlled weapon station, developed by AREX Sp. z o.o. (a WB GROUP company), with a 5.56-12.7 mm caliber machine gun. It can be used to detect and combat infantry and lightly armored targets over distances of up to 800 m, day and night. The system is operated remotely by two soldiers – the first operator controls the vehicle in order to achieve the best fire position, the second controls the armament module and conducts fire.
