Skywheel of Tallinn

Our Ferris wheel offers a view equal to the largest Ferris wheels in the world. This is ensured by a smart layout: the diameter of the ferris wheel itself is 45 meters, to which the height of the shopping center itself adds another 35 meters and the location on Sossi Hill adds an additional 40 meters. Therefore, the top height of the Ferris wheel is 120 meters above sea level, making it the second highest viewing platform in Tallinn after the TV tower. It is also a unique technical solution in Europe - until now Ferris wheels have been placed on building roofs only in Taiwan and Japan.

To ensure safety, a Ferris wheel has been considered since the foundation of the building. In addition, a 1,500-ton concrete platform has been cast on the roof of the building, which balances the vibrations of the Ferris wheel and ensures stability.

The 27 weatherproof gondolas of the Skywheel of Tallinn offer a safe and comfortable experience all year round. In summer, the gondolas are air-conditioned. Each gondola can accommodate up to six people and it is possible to stand or sit in it. The gondola is also accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. We also offer you the opportunity to share the ride only with your group.

The Ferris wheel is built by the Dutch family company Mondial Rides, which has over 100 years of experience. The company, which started with the construction of harbor cranes, has focused on the production of Ferris wheels for the last 30 years. The most famous Ferris wheel designed by Mondial is located on Place de la Concorde in Paris.

SuperSkypark, built by Taevapark OÜ, is the largest indoor family entertainment center in the region. The Ferris wheel, which is unique in Europe, rising to the roof of the building, adds spice to Tallinn's brick-and-mortar silhouette and opens Tallinn, from a height of 120 meters, from a completely new perspective.

Super Skypark raises the reputation of Estonia as a destination among family tourists and attracts at least 45 thousand tourists to Tallinn annually and creates more than 80 new jobs.

The European Regional Development Fund supports the construction of the Ferris wheel with 1.44 million euros.
