IRIS vehicle with EVA gas-tight container

The IRIS vehicle with an EVA gas-tight container is designed to isolate and transport suspicious items that may contain explosives, such as terrorist charges, dirty bombs, improvised explosives. This is an innovative solution that allows for quick and reliable operations in urban areas.
The container was designed to protect the environment from all the effects of the explosion - shock wave, shrapnel, fire and toxic gases.
The device can be used to transport explosives and other hazardous materials with a strength of up to 5 kg in TNT equivalent or a fragmentation artillery shell with a caliber of up to 100 mm.
The design of the container allows for sampling of sub-tonation gases, ensuring the tightness of the structure.
The container can be mounted on any type of vehicle/chassis depending on customer preferences (e.g.: Mercedes, Man, Iveco, Tatra). It is possible to cooperate with local suppliers and chassis services.
The system controlling the operation of the container can operate in three modes:

  • Radio mode - distance up to 100 m- radio control panel.
  • Wired mode (distance up to 50 m) - wired control panel.
  • Emergency mode - allowing you to manually open/close the container.
IRIS allows the transport of all specialized instruments and tools required for sapper operations units, such as an X-ray machine, EOD protective suit, robot, hooks, rope sets, and additional equipment.

Victoria Container

Victoria's anti-fragmentation, ventilated container is designed to safely transport medium-sized unexploded ordnance and duds containing an equivalent of up to 10 kg of TNT, undertaken by military land clearance patrols or other engineering subunits. It can also be used at airports, ferry terminals and automatic shipment sorting facilities for the rapid isolation of suspicious packages, letters or luggage that may contain explosives.
The container mounted on the trailer can be used in various weather and climatic conditions and is capable of driving on dirt roads. Effectively protects people and the environment against shrapnel in the event of an uncontrolled explosion of unexploded ordnance and duds and other hazardous explosives transported inside the container.
The lowered transport platform allows easy access to the loading window of people undertaking unexploded ordnance and duds and other suspicious objects that may contain an explosive, as well as the use of a sapper robot to perform the above-mentioned activities without human intervention.
The internal insert consists of a trolley, a transport drawer and a cargo box. The elements move on guides. The carriage moves inside the body of the anti-shrapnel container, while the cargo box is extended outwards with the transport drawer beyond the flange of the loading window.
Resistance of up to 10 kg of explosive charge in TNT equivalent.
Maximum weight of the transported object - 150 kg.
Installation on a two-axle trailer.
Drop-down loading platform.
Loading window closed automatically, with the possibility of manual closing.
Maximum load dimensions (DxSxW) 800 x 460 x 200 mm.
