The MELLS (Multi-Role Light Guided Missile System), known globally as SPIKE LR, has been a critical asset in the Bundeswehr for over a decade, and is replacing the older MILAN system. It is designed to successfully engage tanks, armored vehicles, fortified positions, and any other armored threats. Integrated with the Puma IFV, it’s deployable from tripods, vehicles, or helicopters.
The SPIKE SR (Short Range), a key part of the SPIKE precision-guided missile family, is a highly lethal, fire-and-forget EO-guided missile designed for dismounted infantry. With a range of up to 2 km, it offers rapid response to evolving threats, ensuring full operational flexibility in high-intensity and hybrid warfare.
EuroSpike GmbH is a European defence company and joint venture between Diehl Defence, Rheinmetall Electronics, and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. The company serves as the primary European point of contact for the SPIKE family of anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM).
